The DW734 12-1/2 in thick planer with three knife cutter-head is powered by a 15 A motor for managing large, deep cuts in hardwood. Three-knife cutter head with speed of 10,000 rpm provides 96 cpi, delivering one of the finest finishes of any portable planer.		Automatic carriage lock for reduction of movement that causes snipe without need for manual engagement by user. Two-speed gear box allows user to change feed speed to optimize cuts per inch at 96 or 79 cpi. Fan assisted chip ejection vacuums chips off the cutter-head and exhausts them out of the machine. Material removal gauge and extra-large thickness scale for accurate cuts. Extra-large turret depth stop. Standard equipment is dust hose adapter and dust ejection chute. Rated at 15 A, 120 VAC motor, 10,000 rpm, 1/8 in maximum depth of cut 1/8 in, 6 in D/13 in D capacity. Feeds 14 or 26 ft/min.
